-==SHORT RANT/GREET THING==-

Howdy, yall. This is Devon here.
I'm not sure if anyone actually
reads these things, but...
basically this archive contains
two bug-fixed machines, and one
new machine! A leslie. Somebody
asked for it in the wishlist, and
I gave it to ya!

Special thanks this time around
to Patrick who was an immense
help in getting these machines
squeaky clean. No special thanks
to Microsoft who makes my job
agony by "optimising" my code to
run 5% slower! (Beware the
optimising compiler...)

As for the recent non-love in the
scene regarding Mr. O and his
fruity wrapper/ XS-1 sampler:

Every one is throwing their own
personal little hissy fit. I, for
one, am no exception. I am as
tantrum prone as the next guy.
But let's not be whiney jerks
about it. Sure, it may not fit
with the punk mentality that seems
to be the hallmark of lots of
trackers (that and the 'weed is
good' mentality) but lets face it:
We all want to get our buck.

XS-1 does not bother me one bit,
and except for those who wonder
what happened to the HD-monies,
(which may or may not be a completely
unrelated issue...) there's nothing to
complain about.

FruityLoops bugs the crap out of me.
The fact that Mr. O wrote a wrapper
for it bothers me. But there aint
nothing I can do about it. And
like I said, we all want to get our
buck.

Which comes to my machine payment.
This gear is free.
Totally...
Incomprehensibly...
and sometimes downright nastily
free... and this is how the
scene evolves. Groovy.
